WEMAKEPRICE Offers Up to 4 Days of 'Vaccine Leave' to Employees... "Actively Encouraging Leave Usage"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Wemakeprice announced on the 27th that it will grant two days of paid leave to all employees who have received the COVID-19 vaccine.
The purpose is to prevent situations where vaccinated employees experience difficulties at work due to adverse reactions, and to create an environment where they can focus on their tasks by facilitating quick recovery. In particular, from the afternoon of the 27th, a system allowing easy same-day reservations for 'no-show' vaccines has been established, enabling employees to freely utilize this service.
This vaccine leave policy reflects the opinions of employee representatives (Razor) from Wemakeprice’s company-wide joint council 'Wonderworks.' Wemakeprice announced the vaccine leave system through the company intranet and encouraged employees to use the vaccine leave.
The vaccine leave can be used for two days on the day of the first and second vaccinations and the following day, totaling four days. Employees experiencing symptoms such as fever or pain can extend their leave without submitting additional documents like a doctor's note. Vaccine-related leave is applied as paid leave that does not deduct from annual leave.
