Korea Forest Welfare Institute Launches 'Forest Trip Along the Railroad' Tourism Product

View original image[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Forest Welfare Institute announced on the 27th that it will launch and operate a tourism product called ‘Forest Trip Along the Railway’ until November this year, linking trains, forests, and forest welfare facilities.
The product is launched with the purpose of popularizing forest tourism and revitalizing the local economy by connecting forest welfare facilities such as forest healing centers, forest experience centers, and healing forests along the railway with local forests.
The main itinerary consists of forest trail exploration, participation in forest experience programs, visits to local attractions, and traditional markets, offering sights that connect local forest, cultural, and tourism resources.
The Forest Trip Along the Railway will start at the National Chuncheon Forest Experience Center on the 12th of next month and will be organized as a one-day or one-night, two-day trip.
