View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Lee Jae-hong, President of the Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs (TIPA), participated in the relay campaign 'GoGo Challenge' on the 24th to reduce plastic usage.
The 'GoGo Challenge' is conducted by holding a signboard with the slogans of 'one action not to do' and 'one action to do' set by the institution to reduce plastic in daily life, taking a certification photo of the challenge, posting it on social networking services (SNS), and nominating the next participant.
TIPA has continued proactive efforts to strategically respond to the future climate crisis through support for the development of practical technologies to reduce fine dust. Along with this, in December last year, it introduced an environmental management system (ISO 14001) to promote company-wide green management, and is currently preparing a practice campaign to realize a green office in celebration of Environment Week.
President Lee Jae-hong said, "Starting this year, we have newly established a task for the development and distribution of eco-friendly packaging materials in the technology development project for lifestyle innovation of small business owners and self-employed people, planning to support small business owners to also participate in plastic reduction policies." He added, "Taking this campaign as an opportunity, we will continuously strengthen company-wide environmental conservation activities along with ESG management activities."
