[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] The victim who alleged that Ki Sung-yong (32, FC Seoul) sexually assaulted them during elementary school has filed a criminal complaint against Ki's lawyer and initiated a civil lawsuit.
On the 26th, Park Ji-hoon, a lawyer at Law Firm Hyun, stated, "Attorney Song Sang-yeop's statement released the previous day contains clear falsehoods that damage the victims' reputations," adding, "The victims have filed a criminal complaint against Attorney Song for defamation by spreading false information and have filed a lawsuit seeking 200 million KRW in damages."
Previously, Attorney Song from Law Firm Seopyeong, who legally represents Ki, said in a statement, "If they had the courage to do good for our society, they would have revealed their real names and faces and appeared promptly at the investigative agency to clarify the truth.
