DocFinder Korea is participating in the 'We Save' campaign by the international relief and development NGO Save the Children, pledging to donate a portion of its monthly sales as contributions. The structure is such that a certain amount is donated in the patient's name according to the number of foreign medical tourists visiting Korea and receiving various surgeries and treatments at domestic hospitals through this company. Foreign medical tourists automatically participate in the sponsorship campaign when they receive advanced medical surgeries in Korea.
DocFinder Korea explained that despite a sales drop of over 90% due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, it decided to participate in the campaign to protect children domestically and internationally from risks such as poverty, abuse, and discrimination, and to help them grow up healthy.
Park Shinbo, CEO of DocFinder Korea, expressed, "Although the domestic medical tourism industry is in a difficult situation, pushed to the brink of collapse due to the impact of COVID-19, we thought this was a good opportunity to promote Korea's advanced medical technology to foreign patients while also raising interest in domestic sponsorship projects."
