Gwangju City to Recruit 653 Participants for Second Half Fiscal Year Financial Support Job Program
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 25th that it will recruit participants for the second half of 2021 fiscal support job projects from the 31st of this month to the 4th of next month to support the livelihood of employment-vulnerable groups by providing jobs.
In this job project, 653 people will be selected in 225 fields including the Community Job Project, Public Work Project, and Regional Vitality Plus Job Project.
The working period will be operated from July 1 to November 30, ranging from 2 to 5 months depending on the project.
Eligibility for application is Gwangju citizens aged 18 or older as of the 31st (announcement date) who have the ability to work and belong to employment-vulnerable groups or have experienced job loss or business closure due to COVID-19.
Working hours are 15 to 25 hours per week (3 to 5 hours per day), and wages are 8,720 won (minimum hourly wage), with transportation expenses paid separately.
Citizens wishing to participate in the project should bring their ID and supporting documents and submit a completed application form at the district office or administrative welfare center of their residential jurisdiction.
The autonomous districts will conduct final selection after reviewing applicants' assets, income, and public job participation history, and individual notifications will be made on the 28th of next month.
Furthermore, if there is a shortfall compared to the selection plan for each project, applicants who wish to apply for other projects and those on the waiting list with their consent may be assigned to similar projects.
