Honam University '2021 Step By Step Overseas Employment Program' Successfully Concluded
One-Month Training Program Completed for 171 Current Students and Local Youth
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Honam University Career Center (Director Kim Eun-ah)'s overseas employment program has successfully concluded.
According to Honam University on the 26th, the '2021 Step By Step Overseas Employment Program' conducted for 171 enrolled students and local youth completed its month-long educational schedule with the overseas employment roadmap competition held the day before.
This program was carried out in collaboration with the university career centers of Gwangju Women's University, Chonnam National University, and Sunchon National University to strengthen the global competencies of enrolled students and local youth preparing for overseas employment.
Starting with special mentoring lectures and briefings on employment in the United States on the 3rd, Singapore on the 4th, and Japan on the 6th, in-depth consulting was provided twice in 10 small groups for 36 applicants who wished to receive consulting.
Additionally, based on the collected overseas employment information, participants were guided to build their own overseas employment roadmap, and an overseas employment roadmap competition was held. Certificates and prize money were awarded to Yang Hyeji (4th year), Department of Counseling Psychology, and Yoon Heewon (3rd year), Department of Aviation Service, who won the grand prize from Honam University.
Yoon Heewon said, "I hope to work in Singapore, and this program was a great opportunity to resolve to successfully achieve my goals."
