[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Gyeongbuk Province announced on the 26th that starting June 1, it will operate a quality inspection team to improve the construction quality of sale apartments with 300 or more units built within the province.
The quality inspection team, composed of experts in related fields, will inspect the construction status on behalf of prospective residents and play a role in preventing defects that may occur after moving in by allowing corrections of any deficiencies.
Accordingly, Gyeongbuk Province amended the "Housing Ordinance," which stipulates detailed matters necessary for operating the quality inspection team, and it has been in effect since the 24th. The inspection team consists of 50 members across 8 fields.
