View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Gimcheon City recently announced on the 25th that, due to a large number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in care centers, entertainment facilities, and other locations within the jurisdiction, it has been conducting an emergency focused inspection of singing practice rooms in cooperation with the police station since the 21st.
During this inspection, a violation was found at singing practice room A, which sold alcoholic beverages, and an administrative suspension was imposed based on a zero-tolerance policy. Joint inspections with the police station will continue for entertainment facilities and singing practice rooms for the time being.

Gimcheon City explained that, following the elevation to social distancing level 2, they are also conducting concurrent inspections to ensure compliance with business operators' obligations at singing practice rooms, such as prohibition of hostess services and alcohol sales from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day.
