[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] The Korea International Trade Association announced on the 25th that it held a 'Webinar on Export Marketing in the Era of Digital Transformation.'
The webinar was organized to present marketing strategies utilizing data and digital technologies to Korean companies in line with the recent trend of accelerating non-face-to-face consumption and digital transformation.
Jung Hyun-gun, Director of Overnode, which provides big data collection, analysis, and utilization solutions for major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, said, "It is essential to quickly and accurately select only meaningful data from the vast amount of data accumulated during the product sales process," adding, "Establishing strategies based on data that align with objectives such as market analysis and sales increase is the key to e-commerce success."
Seong-yeol Bae, Team Leader of BigInsight, a startup offering e-commerce marketing automation solutions, explained, "There are countless types of consumers, but they can be grouped according to purchase frequency, transaction amount, and dwell time," and added, "If digital technology is well utilized, the final purchase conversion rate of consumers through marketing can be further increased."
