Yeosu?Suncheon Expressway Fully Closed for Two Weeks Starting June 7
Total 11km Section from Deokyang Intersection to Yulchon Intersection
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shim Kyung-taek] The Yeosu-Suncheon expressway (National Road No. 17) will be completely closed to vehicles for two weeks starting from the 7th of next month.
The Suncheon National Land Management Office announced that it will inevitably implement a full closure of a total of 11 km from Deokyang Intersection to Yulchon Intersection to repair five bridges located on the road between Yeosu and Suncheon.
Paving work on a total of five bridges will be carried out simultaneously, and traffic will be inevitably controlled to prevent traffic accidents due to construction and to expedite the construction process.
To minimize inconvenience to vehicle users during this period, the closure will be divided between the up and down lines: the up line (towards Suncheon) will be closed for five days from the 7th to the 11th of next month, and the down line (towards Yeosu) will be closed for five days from the 14th to the 18th of next month.
