The "Braille Civil Service Guidebook for the Visually Impaired" consists of essential civil service information needed in daily life, including an overview and introduction of Gangjin-gun, contact numbers for eup and myeon offices, major civil service guides and certificate fees, and welfare projects for the disabled.
The produced guidebooks are planned to be distributed from the end of this month to the county office, 11 eup and myeon offices, and welfare facilities for the disabled.
Through the production of the guidebook, the county expects to provide civil service administration that empathizes and communicates by facilitating convenient civil service processing for visually impaired visitors to the civil service office and enhancing accessibility to administrative services.
Cho Dal-hyun, head of the Civil Service Volunteer Division, said, "We expect that the braille civil service guidebook will help resolve inconveniences that disabled people may experience while using administrative services," and added, "We will continue to actively strive to discover various policies to alleviate inconveniences in daily life for all civil service visitors."
