Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority Operates Tourism and Food Blogs and SNS... Introducing 100 Delivery Restaurants
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority is attracting attention by providing content introducing delivery restaurants on its own blog and social networking services (SNS).
On the 25th, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority announced that it recently signed a contract with a company and will start operating the Incheon Free Economic Zone tourism and food blog and SNS project again this year, following last year.
This project produces vivid content linking tourism and food in Songdo, Yeongjong, and Cheongna International City, and promotes the Incheon Free Economic Zone to domestic and foreign visitors through the blog 'IFEZINE' and SNS channels such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
In particular, this year, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, practice social distancing, and revitalize the local economy, the Authority plans to upload content introducing about 100 delivery restaurants in Songdo, Yeongjong, and Cheongna with photos and videos on blogs and other platforms until the end of the year. Virtual reality (VR) content will also be provided.
Additionally, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority operates channels for foreigners by posting translations done by native speakers rather than simple translations, tailored to foreign sentiments, delivering information to foreign tourists, and introducing food and tourist attractions preferred by foreigners on China's largest SNS, 'Weibo,' among others.
They also plan to conduct fam tours utilizing university students and foreigners working at G Tower as supporters.
