First Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Council Meeting... Discussions on LH Innovation, Virtual Assets, and COVID-19-Induced Academic Disparities
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum held his first Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister meeting since taking office to discuss current issues including innovation plans for Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH).
On the 25th, Prime Minister Kim held a meeting with the Deputy Prime Ministers. Economic Deputy Prime Minister Hong Nam-ki and Social Deputy Prime Minister Yoo Eun-hye attended the meeting. They discussed LH innovation, virtual assets, and educational disparities caused by COVID-19.
They also shared the outcomes of the President's visit to the United States and agreed to swiftly implement follow-up measures through comprehensive government cooperation.
Accordingly, the government will promote ▲building a global vaccine comprehensive partnership ▲lifting missile guidelines ▲establishing global value chains between Korea and the U.S. in batteries, semiconductors, and more.
Prime Minister Kim emphasized, "For the Moon Jae-in administration to be a successful government, it is important to deliver results that meet the public’s expectations," adding, "All members of the cabinet, including the Prime Minister and both Deputy Prime Ministers, must adopt a humble attitude and find answers on the ground."
