Lotte Hi-Mart has opened and operates a ‘Store Display Product Sales’ menu on its website. Customers can check photos, conditions, and descriptions of display products directly uploaded from stores nationwide, and if interested in purchasing, they can make a store visit reservation to ‘bookmark’ the item. Afterwards, customers can thoroughly check the product condition through an on-site visit or phone consultation, negotiate the price, and then make the final purchase decision.
Lotte Hi-Mart directly operates about 440 offline stores across the country. With so many stores, the scale of display products managed is also large. Customers can browse and purchase from about 140 items of over 1,500 domestic and international electronics brands. In particular, product conditions are subdivided into three grades?Gold, Silver, and Bronze?based on release period, display period, and appearance, enhancing customer convenience by enabling safe purchase and use of display products linked with Lotte Hi-Mart’s A/S infrastructure.
Lotte Hi-Mart has been building a shopping environment that freely crosses the boundaries between online and offline through digital transformation. This includes an AR virtual placement service that allows customers to virtually place products in indoor spaces without visiting the store, a store visit consultation reservation service that enables efficient offline consultation by booking online in advance without waiting, Smart Pick which allows customers to pick up products purchased online at nearby stores, and an A/S video consultation service that lets customers communicate and check in real time how their repaired products are being serviced. From product exploration to purchase, pickup, and after-sales service, customers can conveniently experience everything online or offline.
