President Moon to Meet Leaders of Five Parties on 26th... After 1 Year and 3 Months
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] President Moon Jae-in will invite the leaders of the five ruling and opposition parties to the Blue House for a luncheon meeting on the 26th. This is the first time in about 1 year and 3 months since February 28 last year that the leaders of the five parties have gathered in one place.
The meeting is expected to be an occasion to share the achievements of the 5-day, 3-night visit to the United States and to request bipartisan cooperation on vaccine, security, and economic issues agreed upon at the Korea-US summit.
According to the ruling and opposition parties on the 24th, Song Young-gil of the Democratic Party of Korea, Yeo Young-guk of the Justice Party, Ahn Cheol-soo of the People’s Party, Choi Kang-wook of the Open Democratic Party, and Kim Ki-hyun, acting leader of the People Power Party, were invited by the Blue House on that day.
