View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] The WISET Jeonnam Regional Mokpo University Project Group (Director Park Bok-hee) at National Mokpo University (President Park Min-seo) announced on the 24th that from the 7th to the 21st, they conducted 'ICP-MS Analysis Training' for students of science and engineering departments (Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Department of Chemistry) at the Mokpo University Joint Experiment and Practice Center.
This 'ICP-MS Analysis Training' was operated as a session where students could directly handle the analytical instrument, Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS), which they had learned theoretically in class, covering everything from theory to sample pretreatment experiments, instrument operation, and data interpretation.
In particular, the training was conducted while strictly adhering to quarantine rules such as temperature checks and mask-wearing due to COVID-19 at the training site.
The students who participated in this training commented, "It was good to expand our major knowledge through practical training," and "It was helpful to learn in advance the instruments used at field training institutions."

The WISET Jeonnam Regional Mokpo University Project Group operates major and employment competency enhancement programs to help female students in science and engineering fields enter society in their major areas, and plans to hold a 'Special Lecture on Industry-Academia-Research Employment Competency' on the 4th of next month under the theme 'Root Technologies Leading the Future of Enterprises.'
