Binggrae Signs Exclusive Distribution Agreement with Bel Cheese Korea
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Binggrae announced on the 24th that it has signed an exclusive domestic retail distribution contract with Bell Cheese Korea, a subsidiary of the global cheese specialist Bell Group, and will begin sales.
Through this contract, Binggrae will be responsible for distributing Bell Cheese Korea's flagship products such as Wrapping Cow, Kkiri, and Babybel to domestic discount stores, convenience stores, department stores, and general retail outlets. By adding cheese to its existing business areas of processed milk and fermented milk, Binggrae has expanded its dairy product portfolio.
The relationship between Binggrae and Bell Cheese Korea began in 2017. At that time, Binggrae started collaboration by launching ice cream using Bell Cheese Korea's premium cheese brand 'Kkiri.' Later, in 2020, the two companies maintained a friendly relationship by releasing processed milk under the 'Wrapping Cow' brand. This exclusive distribution contract is based on the mutual trust built over a considerable period between the two companies.
