According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 23rd, three additional confirmed cases were identified in the afternoon, classified as cases number 2699 to 2701.
These are linked to the chain infection of previously confirmed cases with unknown infection routes and new infections.
Case 2699 tested positive during a test conducted before the end of self-quarantine, related to case 2438 confirmed on the 4th. The infection route of case 2438 has not been identified.
Cases 2700 and 2701 are residents of Buk-gu and Seo-gu, respectively, and both were confirmed infected through voluntary testing after symptoms appeared.
