According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 23rd, as of 2 PM that day, five people tested positive in COVID-19 diagnostic tests and were registered as cases 2694 to 2698.
The infection route of case 2694 was classified as related to a colleague and acquaintance gathering in Seo-gu. This person was a coworker of case 2637, who was confirmed positive on the 17th, and developed symptoms while in self-quarantine, then tested positive.
Cases 2695 and 2696 were confirmed positive during self-quarantine as contacts of cases 2438 and 2690, respectively. Both cases 2438 and 2690 have infection routes that remain unidentified.
