Seoul Songpa Police Station announced on the 23rd at around 2:30 a.m. that one employee and 28 customers at a nightlife bar in Garak-dong, Songpa-gu were caught for violating the Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Act.
The police plan to notify the local district office of the violation of the gathering ban administrative order, and the district office is considering filing charges.
After receiving a report of an operating nightlife establishment, the police, along with the fire department, entered by opening the door and found liquor bottles on the tables and signs of escape. After a search, they apprehended the individuals.

Meanwhile, under the social distancing level 2 currently in effect in the metropolitan area, gatherings are banned at six types of entertainment facilities including nightlife bars, danran bars, emotional bars, colatecs, hunting pochas, and hold'em pubs. This measure has been extended for three weeks and will be in effect until the 13th of next month.
