On-site Payment Fees to be Paid in Lump Sum on July 26
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Naver Financial announced on the 20th that it will fully support the fees for ‘Naver Pay On-site Payment’ transactions made from November last year through June this year.
Naver Pay On-site Payment is a service that allows users to pay at Naver Pay offline affiliated stores such as ▲convenience stores ▲large supermarkets ▲coffee ▲beverage specialty stores ▲gas stations ▲theme parks using Naver Pay points accumulated and charged online. The fees will be paid in a lump sum on July 26, and detailed information can be found on the campaign page linked by searching ‘Naver Pay On-site Payment’ in the Naver search bar.
Choi Jin-woo, head of Naver Financial, said, “Most of the affiliated stores are convenience stores and coffee and beverage specialty stores, which are small and medium-sized businesses. We hope that this fee support will alleviate the business burdens of offline SMEs struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.” He added, “Naver Financial provides various financial solutions for SMEs to secure a stable business foundation and grow, such as fast settlements and loans for Smart Store operators, and we will continue to consider support measures for them.”
Meanwhile, in March, Naver announced the future direction of ‘Project Kkot,’ which supports the online transition and growth of SMEs, along with the launch of the ‘Start All-in-One Program,’ promising enhanced support for early-stage online and offline SMEs.
