Nongshim Bae Hong Dong Bibimmyun Sells 14 Million Units in Two Months...Limited Edition Goods Released
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Nongshim announced on the 18th that its new product, Baehongdong Bibimmyeon, sold 14 million units within two months of its launch. Nongshim released limited edition goods to attract young consumers in their 20s and 30s.
Nongshim collaborated with the young target fashion select shop ‘BIND’ and lifestyle brand ‘EARP EARP’ to launch limited edition Baehongdong Bibimmyeon goods.
Nongshim introduced various goods such as smartphone cases, grip tok, AirPods cases, T-shirts, pajamas, aprons, dishcloths, and picnic mats, utilizing the design elements of Baehongdong Bibimmyeon, which features a striking contrast of sky blue and red colors.
The design source was provided by Nongshim, and the lifestyle brand ‘EARP EARP’ was responsible for applying the designs to each product. Sales are exclusively conducted through the select shop BIND.
The Baehongdong Bibimmyeon goods will be sold mainly as limited edition sets on BIND’s online mall starting this week. From the 1st of next month, they will also be available at offline stores. Additionally, Nongshim plans to open pop-up stores in collaboration with BIND at Seoul Parna Mall, Goyang Starfield, and Songdo Triple Street to boost sales.
