Shinsegae International Opens Recruitment for Luxury Brand Specialist Showhost 'Personal Shopper'
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Shinsegae International is launching a search for luxury-specialized show hosts to strengthen its in-house live commerce capabilities.
Shinsegae International is publicly recruiting “Personal Shoppers” by May 31 to professionally lead its live commerce broadcast, S.I.Live, within its online mall S.I.Village.
Launched in December last year, S.I.Live is a live commerce platform specialized in high-end brands and products. Every Monday, it introduces and sells fashion, beauty, and lifestyle items available on S.I.Village through live broadcasts.
As S.I.Live is a new level of live broadcasting focused on premium brands, the role of the “Personal Shopper” host is differentiated from that of a general show host.
The S.I.Live Personal Shopper goes beyond a simple seller role by personally selecting products aligned with trends and providing customers with rich content and extensive information, from brand stories to product usage tips and styling. Additionally, unique segments such as product unboxing and consultation corners have created a loyal live audience, resulting in high customer satisfaction.
Shinsegae International plans to discover professional show hosts and expand operations with more specialized broadcasts to strengthen S.I.Live’s competitiveness.
Anyone interested in the latest trends and products, confident in delivering in-depth content and brand-related broadcasts, can apply for the S.I.Live Personal Shopper recruitment. The work is freelance, and those with experience in mobile broadcasting as professional MCs or reporters will be given preference.
The application period runs until May 31. Applicants should submit a simple self-introduction video and a video introducing brands listed on S.I.Village via email. Afterward, candidates will undergo a second-round live broadcast test and a third-round final interview to select the final successful applicants.
The final selected Personal Shoppers will host fixed S.I.Live broadcasts once or twice a month and receive various benefits, including appearance fees and discounts on products listed on S.I.Village. All first-round successful applicants will also receive 50,000 won worth of e-points usable on S.I.Village.
