[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that Minister Hwang Hee visited a local PC bang in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 15th to inspect the COVID-19 quarantine situation and listen to the industry's requests and on-site voices.
Minister Hwang checked the implementation of quarantine rules such as symptom checks for entrants and restricting entry of symptomatic individuals, maintaining visitor logs, wearing masks and hand sanitizing, and ventilating and disinfecting the facility more than three times a day.
He also expressed gratitude for the PC bang industry's efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and maintain quarantine measures exemplary despite economic difficulties, and encouraged the related personnel.

Minister Hwang said, "As the number of confirmed cases is recently increasing, I ask business operators and users to be more vigilant and strictly follow the quarantine rules," adding, "We expect the situation to improve by the end of the year when the government’s ongoing vaccination campaign is completed."
