KB Kookmin Bank Launches Open Banking Service for Individual Entrepreneurs
"Manage Accounts at Once in Corporate Banking!"
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 14th that it will implement open banking services for individual business owners.
The newly launched open banking service allows financial transactions such as account inquiry, withdrawal, and transfer of other financial institutions through KB Star Corporate Banking and KB Corporate Internet Banking. It enables the management of personal and individual business accounts from other financial institutions together, making it convenient for corporate fund management. In addition, open banking users are exempt from all transfer transaction fees.
Until now, individual business owners had to access each financial institution's internet banking separately to gather funds scattered across different banks. However, going forward, through open banking, they can view other financial account information at once via KB Star Corporate Banking and KB Corporate Internet Banking and use the balance aggregation function to collect funds.
Moreover, through scheduled balance aggregation transactions, automatic fund collection can be made at customer-designated intervals such as monthly, weekly, or daily, providing convenience in corporate fund management.
A KB Kookmin Bank official stated, “The implementation of open banking services for individual business owners will realize integrated fund management services across all financial institutions using open API and serve as an opportunity to fully establish a leading corporate digital platform foundation,” adding, “We will continue to strive to introduce innovative corporate digital financial services.”
