Honam University Academic Information Center Hosts 'Scientists Who Cause Trouble' Talk Concert
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Honam University Academic Information Center announced on the 13th that it held a talk concert with the author on the theme of ‘Scientists Who Make a Difference’ at the IT Square Integrated News Center on the morning of the 12th.
Hosted by Baek Ran, head of the Academic Information Center, this lecture invited Dr. Jo Sook-kyung, a researcher at the National Gwangju Science Museum who majored in the history of science at the University of London and Seoul National University Graduate School of Natural Sciences and was selected as the author of multiple excellent books, to highlight how positive innovation and thinking contribute to society through scientists.
Dr. Jo emphasized a didactic message to gain wisdom for the future through the past by examining meetings and human life through the cities and histories where science and scientists lived.
This talk concert was live-streamed via Zoom participation of community members and enrolled students as well as through YouTube ‘Honam University TV’ with the intention of engaging with the local community.
