Chairman Park Yong-man's 'Trevari' Book Club Communicating with Youth
First Essay Collection 'Even the Shade Is Life' Reading Event
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Park Yong-man, chairman of Doosan Infracore, will communicate with young people through 'Trevari,' a community service based on Korea's representative reading club. Trevari announced on the 13th that it will hold a reading event in June where participants can share their impressions and thoughts on Chairman Park's first essay collection, 'Geuneulkkajido Insaenginikka' (Because Even the Shade is Life).
Chairman Park is known as a curious early adopter and an actively communicative CEO of a large corporation. He has served as chairman of the Doosan Group and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and will step down as chairman of Doosan Infracore this September. Receiving many questions about his future plans, he expressed his answers through his first essay collection, 'Geuneulkkajido Insaenginikka.' This reading event is interpreted as a move reflecting his long-standing affection for young people and startup entrepreneurs.
