Operation of Eye Health Counseling Center for Infants and Toddlers in the Preschool Children Blindness Prevention Project

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Public Health Center of Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 13th that it will operate the Infant and Toddler Eye Health Counseling Room, a preschool children's blindness prevention project run by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Population, Health and Welfare Association, from May to the end of December through online, phone, and face-to-face (non-face-to-face) methods.
The counseling room provides consultations on all medical matters including prevention, treatment, and education for the eye health of preschool children.
Through this counseling room operation, it is expected to promote eye health management, early screening, and vision improvement for preschool children, and ultimately contribute to improving guardians' awareness by spreading the importance of infant and toddler eye health.
