Jangseong-gun Operates Support Desk for 'Comprehensive and Individual Local Income Tax'
[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Yoo Dooseok) announced on the 11th that it will operate a 'Joint Assistance Desk' for the filing and payment of comprehensive income tax and individual local income tax.
Due to tax law revisions, taxpayers subject to comprehensive income tax must file and pay comprehensive income tax to the tax office and individual local income tax to the local government separately for income earned in the previous year.
For the convenience of taxpayers, the county has set up a 'Joint Assistance Desk' on the 2nd floor of the Jangseong-eup Administrative Welfare Center for one month this month, supporting one-stop filing and payment for both comprehensive income tax and individual local income tax.
Taxpayers can file both national and local taxes simultaneously without visiting the tax office, and electronic filing using Hometax and Wetax is also available without direct visits.
After completing the comprehensive income tax filing through the National Tax Service's Hometax, individual local income tax can be filed automatically linked to Wetax with one click.
‘All-filled filing subjects,’ such as small business owners who receive a payment slip showing both the tax base and tax amount, can complete filing by paying with the sent payment slip without separate filing.
