Yeonggwang-gun Holds Midterm Report Meeting on 'Rural Space and Living Area Revitalization Plan'
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters reporter Lee Jeonseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 11th that it held a 'Mid-term Report Meeting on the Rural Space and Living Area Revitalization Plan' on the 10th at the county office's large conference room to apply for the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs' Rural Agreement public project.
The meeting was presided over by Governor Kim Junsung, with 31 attendees including the county council, heads of departments, eup/myeon chiefs, and external experts, discussing the rural space strategic plan, living area revitalization plan, and task execution schedule.
The Rural Space and Living Area Revitalization Plan is a project plan required for the Rural Agreement, in which the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs reviews plans established by local governments and supports them in an integrated package format.
The county plans to divide the 11 eup and myeon into eastern and western living areas, establish a project plan worth 30 billion KRW in national funds over five years, and apply for the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs' public project this month.
