Tmon Appoints Jeon Incheon as New CEO
Former Representative Lee Jin-won to Assist New Representative and Company Operations for the Time Being
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheolhyun] TMON announced on the 10th that it has appointed Jeon Incheon, former Vice President of Finance (CFO), as its new CEO. The new CEO Jeon said, "Over the past three years, TMON has continuously reduced operating losses and accelerated structural improvements," adding, "Based on this, we will strive to successfully complete the upcoming IPO and continue to grow as an innovative and solid company."
Former CEO Lee Jinwon resigned from his position for personal reasons but will remain with the company for the time being to assist the new CEO and company operations.
Meanwhile, as TMON has fully launched its 'Time Commerce' service, offering special deals by the second and minute, it has strengthened its service competitiveness and seen positive signals in various customer indicators. New sign-ups last year increased by 47.8% compared to the previous year, with sign-ups among teenagers, a key future growth driver, nearly tripling. TMON's premium membership 'Super Save' saw its members increase fivefold and sales increase 5.5 times year-over-year as of the third quarter, with the average purchase amount per transaction also more than tripling.

Searches related to Time Commerce on TMON increased more than fourfold year-over-year, buyers through store searches increased sevenfold, sales increased eightfold, and purchase unit price more than doubled. Additionally, the 'Gift' service saw its customers triple within a year, with purchase counts and purchase amounts rising by 63% and 215%, respectively. Launched in 2017, the live commerce service 'TVON' is expanding its scope as the first domestic e-commerce platform to host events ranging from electric vehicle launch shows to officetel sales.
