[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Jung Soon-gyun, Mayor of Gangnam-gu, participated in the 'SOS Relay Challenge' for the prevention of child abuse on the 10th.
The SOS (Save Our Seoul!) Challenge is a campaign initiated by the Seoul Metropolitan Council to protect socially vulnerable groups exposed to various forms of violence, including child abuse.
Since July last year, Gangnam-gu has established a dedicated child protection team and operates a 24-hour protection system that can respond immediately in case of child abuse incidents.
