Gyeongnam Province, "Participants in the Win-Win Rent Campaign, Apply for Property Tax Reduction!"
Applications accepted from the building's location district from the 10th to June 18th
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] From June 10 to June 18, applications will be accepted for the reduction of the July property tax (including local resource facility tax) for landlords in Gyeongnam Province who have reduced rent for small business owners this year.
Gyeongnam Province has increased the reduction rate up to 75% this year to revitalize the win-win rent movement for small business owners, and has allowed reductions on rent decreases after July as well.
Support can be received through a refund application after payment.
Applications for property tax reduction must be submitted to the tax office of the city or county where the building is located, with required documents including the local tax reduction application form, a copy of the lease contract, a revised contract confirming the rent reduction, a copy of the bankbook, and tax invoices.
Separately from the win-win landlord property tax reduction, the province will temporarily reduce delinquency penalties on local taxes first imposed on small business owners after January 1 of last year until December 31 of this year. Cases with three or more delinquencies are excluded.
Additionally, extensions for filing tax items such as local income tax, deferrals, installment billing, and postponements of collection for tax items such as property tax and automobile tax will be implemented for up to one year to ease payment burdens.
