[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Seo Daeseok) is recruiting participants for the 'Private Restroom Improvement Support Project' from the 10th of this month to the 9th of next month.
This project, aimed at installing safety facilities and renovating facilities in private public restrooms, targets private restrooms currently designated and operated as public restrooms in Seo-gu.
With a condition of 25% self-payment of construction costs, support ranges from a minimum of 3 million KRW to a maximum of 7.5 million KRW per location.
Selected recipients can install safety facilities such as CCTV, emergency bells, and safety mirrors, or carry out renovation work on damaged urinals, toilets, washbasins, tiles, etc., and apply for subsidies to the district office by submitting related documents.
The selection criteria prioritize locations with high foot traffic, large facility size, and the ability to meet the public restroom designation condition (at least 3 years). Public restrooms expected to have a significant ripple effect from the private public restroom support project will be given priority support.
