Imsil-gun, Cheongnyeon 4-Hhoe Joint Project Peppers Transplanting Work Underway
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, recently announced on the 7th that they conducted pepper transplanting work at the Youth 4-H Association's joint project practice field located in Gugo-ri, Cheongung-myeon.
This event was carried out by dividing work teams by time to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The 1,322m² joint project practice field is a plot where 4-H members gather to cultivate and harvest crops while engaging in project activities. By directly selling the harvest, they develop marketing skills and practice the 4-H ideals of knowledge, virtue, labor, and physical strength through donating sales proceeds to the local community.
Last year, the sales proceeds from corn and beans produced at the joint project field were donated to local child welfare facilities, and this year, members are working hard to achieve good results.
