Daejeon City Provides Up to 1.8 Million Won for Traditional Korean Medicine Infertility Treatment Support
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Daejeon City will provide support for traditional Korean medicine infertility treatment costs to local infertile couples.
The city announced on the 7th that it will recruit additional infertile couples to participate in the traditional Korean medicine infertility treatment cost support project until the end of this month.
The eligibility criteria are infertile couples (of unknown cause) who have resided in Daejeon for more than 6 months as of the application date, and women aged 44 or younger can apply regardless of income criteria.
If selected, applicants can receive traditional Korean medicine infertility treatment for 6 months at designated Korean medicine clinics located in Daejeon, with support amounts up to 1.8 million KRW per person, including herbal medicine costs.
However, if infertile couples have received government support for infertility procedure costs (Western medicine infertility), they can only receive support for traditional Korean medicine infertility treatment costs if one year has passed since the infertility procedure date.
