Lotte Hi-Mart Donates Funds for Supporting Abused Children with LG Electronics
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Lotte Hi-Mart announced on the 6th that it will donate funds to support children who are victims of abuse in collaboration with LG Electronics.
To raise the donation funds, Lotte Hi-Mart and LG Electronics conducted the "Good Consumption Campaign Connecting Hope" from the 7th to the 30th of last month. When customers purchased LG Electronics Objet Collection products at over 440 Lotte Hi-Mart stores nationwide, 1% of the payment amount was accumulated to prepare the donation funds.
The donation of 50 million KRW will be delivered through the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation to about 10 foster care support centers and child protection agencies nationwide, and will be used for treatment costs, educational expenses, and other support for about 40 children who are victims of abuse.
