KB Securities "Get Cash and Commission Discounts When Trading Overseas Futures"
Up to 1,000,000 KRW Cash Payment Based on Cumulative Transaction Contracts
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] KB Securities is conducting a promotion for about 8 weeks, providing cash payments and commission discounts to customers trading overseas futures.
KB Securities announced on the 4th that it will hold the overseas futures "Cash Reward + Discounted Commission" event until the 25th of next month.
First, among all trading customers, individual customers will receive cash payments based on the cumulative number of contracts during the event period. Customers with 1,000 or more cumulative contracts will receive 500,000 KRW, and those exceeding 2,000 contracts will receive 1,000,000 KRW. The number of contracts per tier is converted and applied based on KB Securities' basic commission (5.9 USD per 1 contract). However, customers are responsible for a 22% tax and public charges.
Additionally, new individual customers and long-term inactive individual customers who have not traded since November 2nd of last year will be offered online commission discounts for major micro products on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) and general/mini overseas futures products. The discount is provided for three months from the application date only to customers who apply via phone during the event period, and the applicable discounted commissions can be checked on the KB Securities website.
KB Securities overseas futures options accounts can also be opened non-face-to-face through the account opening menu of the mobile trading system (MTS) "M-able (Mable)." For detailed information such as event application, please refer to the KB Securities website or contact the Global BK Solutions Department. It should be noted that overseas futures options investments may result in losses exceeding the principal and losses due to exchange rate fluctuations.
