Incheon City Supports Built-in Home Appliances for Small-scale Rental Housing Construction
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon City will incorporate built-in home appliances into the architectural design and install them during construction to improve the living environment of small-scale new permanent rental housing.
On the 4th, the city announced that it signed a business agreement with the Incheon Community Chest of Korea to promote the "Our Home Space Filling Project."
The city decided to implement this project to resolve the inconvenience of very limited living space after moving in when installing ready-made appliances, as the exclusive area of permanent rental housing is 27㎡ or less.
The cost of appliances such as washing machines and refrigerators will be secured by the Incheon Community Chest through designated donations from companies interested in social contribution.
The city and the Incheon Community Chest aim to secure an annual budget of 200 million KRW to support 50 to 100 rental housing units with up to 2 million KRW each.
