On the 6th, a Youth Busking Performance Celebrating Parents' Day at Bongsudae Park Outdoor Deck Stage... A Nostalgic Journey Forgetting COVID-19 with 'Tonggita 70' Volunteer Team's 70s-80s Acoustic Guitar Performance
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) will hold a youth busking performance for the elderly on the 6th in celebration of Parents' Day.
Starting at 4 PM for about 50 minutes, classic songs representing the sentiment of the 70s and 80s will be performed with acoustic guitar at the outdoor deck stage in Bongsudae Park behind Jungnang-gu Office.
There are a total of 50 seats available on a first-come, first-served basis, and attendees must wear masks and comply with social distancing and quarantine guidelines.
Through this performance, it is expected that elderly people, who have been frustrated and exhausted due to COVID-19, will be able to enjoy nostalgic songs and heal. However, the performance will be canceled in case of rain.
The performing group, ‘Tonggita 70’, is a local art volunteer team formed in 2008, participating in talent donation on various stages such as the Seoul 365 Street Performance and the Seoul Rose Festival.
Member Jeon Tae-kyung of ‘Tonggita 70’ said, “I hope not only the elderly but also local residents enjoy a pleasant time listening to lively music.”
