Silla University Holds First Strategic Seminar as the Only 'Aviation College' in the Southeast Region
Exploring Competitiveness Enhancement and Admission Strategies for 5 Departments at the '1st Changgong Seminar'
Shilla University College of Aviation held the "1st Changgong Seminar" on April 30th at 2 PM in Room 215 of the Future Aviation Convergence Hall.

The College of Aviation at Silla University (President Kim Chung-seok) announced on the 3rd that it held the "1st Changgong Seminar" on April 30th at 2 p.m. in Room 215 of the Future Aviation Convergence Hall.
At this seminar, ways to strengthen the competitiveness of Silla University's College of Aviation, which has been expanded and reorganized into five departments, as well as admission strategies, were explored.
About 30 people attended the event, including Dean of the College of Aviation Jo Yoon-sik, Director of Admissions Kim Ra-yeon, and professors affiliated with the College of Aviation.
The event began with a greeting from Dean Jo Yoon-sik, followed by an introduction to admission strategies by Director Kim Ra-yeon, and presentations on the 2022 academic year recruitment process and newly established departments. Department heads of the College of Aviation also presented plans to strengthen the competitiveness of each department.
Attendees discussed various topics including ▲specific plans to cultivate excellent aviation personnel ▲finding practical training sites to improve students' fieldwork skills ▲plans to expand the College of Aviation facilities.
Professor Kim Jae-won of the Department of Aviation Service said, "We took time to diagnose the current status of Silla University's College of Aviation and explore directions for development," adding, "Various ideas emerged to enhance the competitiveness of the College of Aviation, including activation plans for newly established departments such as the Department of Air Traffic Management and preparation of curricula in anticipation of the Gadeok New Airport era."

Starting from the 2022 academic year, Silla University's College of Aviation will recruit new students in five departments: Department of Aviation Operations, Department of Aircraft Maintenance, Department of Aviation Service, Department of Aviation Logistics, and Department of Air Traffic Management.
