Gochang-gun Accepts Applications for Bokbunja Cultivation Farm Purchase Incentive Until the 14th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 3rd that it will accept applications for purchase incentives for bokbunja cultivation farms through eup and myeon offices from the 3rd to the 14th to revitalize the bokbunja industry, one of the three major administrative projects of the county.
The support targets are farms registered as agricultural management entities with an address in Gochang-gun, cultivating bokbunja on farmland within Gochang-gun and participating in purchase through the Nonghyup. Direct support of 1,000 KRW per kilogram (up to 3 tons per farm) is planned.
Gochang-gun will invest 1.3 billion KRW in the project to revive bokbunja, a representative local agricultural product.
It will provide 800 million KRW for purchase incentives to stabilize bokbunja supply and demand, and 230 million KRW to enhance brand value by promoting premium Gochang agricultural products through the Gochang Bokbunja and Watermelon Festival.
