Gyeongnam Provincial Assembly People Power Party Members Assist with Farm Work in Uiryeong Countryside
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] On the 3rd, more than 20 members of the People Power Party in the Gyeongnam Provincial Council visited a farm in Jeonggok-myeon, Uiryeong-gun to help with garlic scape removal.
This effort was undertaken to share the burden of the increasing difficulties caused by labor shortages during the busy farming season compounded by COVID-19.
In particular, this was the first quarterly practical activity as part of a policy promoting legislative activities serving the residents, following the recent by-election.
Meanwhile, Uiryeong County Governor Oh Taewan also participated in the labor assistance that day.
