[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Kim Seon-gap, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, visited the Gwangjin-gu COVID-19 Vaccination Center, which is operating extended hours on weekends, on the 1st.
On this day, Mayor Kim encouraged the on-site workers and volunteers who are working hard even on weekends and took time to communicate with residents visiting the vaccination center for their COVID-19 vaccinations.
Mayor Kim stated, “The number of infections is inversely proportional to the vaccination rate,” and added, “I hope everyone actively participates in vaccination to prevent the fourth wave.”
He also listened to the difficulties faced by workers and residents and asked them to actively point out any gaps in Gwangjin-gu’s quarantine measures.
The Gwangjin-gu COVID-19 Vaccination Center opened at Jayang Sports Center on April 15 and began weekend operations from April 24.
Accordingly, the vaccination center, which operated from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, is now extended to operate every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
