Gwangju Buk-gu "File Your Comprehensive Income Tax Electronically and Remotely"
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Moon In) announced on the 2nd that personal local income tax for comprehensive income attributable to 2020 must be reported and paid by the 31st.
Buk-gu plans to send mobile notifications to encourage electronic filing and to discourage in-person visits for the convenience of taxpayers.
Comprehensive income tax filing is primarily non-face-to-face through PC, mobile, ARS, etc., to prevent the spread of COVID-19. However, among those subject to pre-filled filing (small business owners, religious workers, and those subject to separate taxation on housing rental income), individuals aged 65 and over and persons with disabilities can use the help center within the Taxation Division 1 of Buk-gu Office.
Small business owners who have suffered damage due to prolonged COVID-19 restrictions such as gathering bans or business limitations have their payment deadline extended until the end of August.
For more details, inquiries can be made to the Taxation Division 1 of Buk-gu Office or the call center.
