View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Coway announced on the 1st that it has opened 'The Kitchen' at its Environmental Technology Research Center located in the Seoul National University Research Park for research and development of kitchen appliances from the consumer's perspective.
According to Coway, The Kitchen is an experiential research space for verifying the usability of Coway's kitchen appliances, including electric ranges. The interior is designed as a kitchen environment where actual products are used, analyzing the functions, usability, and consumer emotional quality of Coway kitchen appliances.
Going forward, Coway plans to utilize The Kitchen as a space to have coordinators at service sites and employees evaluate the usability of kitchen appliances and to discover ideas for new product development.
Additionally, Coway stated that The Kitchen will include not only electric ranges but also water purifiers and air purifiers, aiming to create synergy between products and enhance usability through usability linkage research with existing products.
Coway plans to expand The Kitchen into a cooking class space where customers can directly experience Coway kitchen appliances.
