Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Delivers 'Nanum Sangja' Donated by Labor Unions and Corporations to Vulnerable Groups
350 Nanum Boxes Delivered to Low-Income Families by Local Welfare Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education will deliver 350 food sharing boxes donated by labor unions and incorporated associations to underprivileged children in celebration of Family Month.
On the 2nd, the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education announced that the sharing boxes donated by the National Financial Industry Labor Union NH Nonghyup Branch, the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Public Officials Labor Union and General Public Officials Labor Union, and the Incorporated Association Uri Nongup Jikigi Undong Bonbu will be delivered to low-income elementary school students' families at local welfare centers in Seoul. The donation ceremony will be held on the afternoon of the 3rd at the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education.
Local welfare centers are regional institutions that provide educational welfare services such as school adaptation, emotional support, and family assistance to students facing crises due to economic and cultural difficulties at home. The sharing boxes contain food items worth about 70,000 won, including cooked rice, mixed grains, ham, gim (seaweed), and sausages.
