According to the Korea Customs Service on the 30th, the Bonded Sales Store License Review Committee held a meeting and decided to grant a new license for the arrival duty free shop business at Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 (AF1) to Gyeongbokgung Duty Free Shop. This location was previously vacated by SM Duty Free Shop, which withdrew due to financial difficulties caused by COVID-19. Gyeongbokgung Duty Free Shop received a score of 773.79 out of 1000 points in the evaluation categories, including bonded area management capability.

The License Review Committee also approved the extension of the opening date for Dongmu's downtown Seoul duty free shop and the relocation of Jinsan Seonmu's Ulsan downtown duty free shop license on the same day. Dongmu obtained a new license for a downtown Seoul duty free shop last year but requested a one-year extension of the opening date due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. The extension was approved from June 23 this year to June 22 next year. The relocation plan for Jinsan Seonmu's Ulsan downtown duty free shop from Beonyeong-ro, Jung-gu to Jangsaengpo-gorae-ro, Nam-gu was also approved.
