'The Bodyguard of the Killer 2' Opens on June 23
Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson, and Salma Hayek Appear as Themselves
Distributor JNC Media Group announced on the 30th that the movie The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard 2 will be released on June 23. It is the sequel to The Hitman's Bodyguard, which was released in August 2017 and attracted 1,722,017 viewers. Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson, and Salma Hayek, who starred in the previous film, return for this installment. Director Patrick Hughes also returns to the helm. The film comically depicts bodyguard Michael Bryce (Ryan Reynolds) struggling with hitman Darius Kincaid (Samuel L. Jackson) as he solves a new case. JNC Media Group stated, "Hollywood's top actors such as Antonio Banderas, Morgan Freeman, Frank Grillo, and Tom Hopper have joined the cast," adding, "It will offer more spectacular action and sharp dialogue than the previous film."
